Shoes or southern fried food?

Delicious, enormous hush puppies. Just what every growing boy needs.

Some of you will note that I am eating turkey, stuffing, corn, and hush puppies. According to the lunch lady, I have exceeded the prescribed "meat and two veg" meal combo design and so will have to pay a surcharge. Totally worth it. Others may say that I have strayed outside the lines of the acceptable traditional turkey meal combination.

Frak you all (including you lunch lady), I believe this to be a valid meal for several reasons.
1. Turkey loves company.
2. The hush puppies are huge, and deserve to be eaten.
3. Hush puppies are derived from corn products, and so can successfully counted along with the corn as one larger conglomerated serving of "corn". Note: this argument did not fly with the lunch lady. I forked out the extra $.95 anyway.
4. I am hungry. My belly screams for fried corn meal balls.
5. Those hush puppies are HUGE and DESERVE TO BE EATEN!

Editor's note: I paid for this meal later in the evening, but I had a good magazine to read while I waited for things to sort themselves out.

Saw Chris Porter

This hombre is funny. Later found out that someone at the show had a camera rolling the whole time we were there?! There were only like 30 people in the audience, so I find it peculiar that someone taped the specific Thursday night we were there.

Weather dampens hair, Reggie dampens spirits

Reggie Ball managed to lead the Jackets to a mediocre ACC Championship showing this Saturday.

I'm so glad that I spent $90 per seat to watch this game. Plus the time in the car, the hotel...

Chances are we'll be asked to the Gator Bowl right back here. And the weather will likely be nice. And we'll probably play a lot better, maybe even win. And then I will have officially chosen the wrong Jacksonville game to attend.

At least the B and I had some time together. He enjoyed saying "tadow!" (touchdown for those who don't speak Walkerese) and eating teddy grahams. Wet, but tasty treats.

This is Dave. He's in a band, ladies. They're called The Almanac (check 'em on myspace) and are the biggest shit to hit North Fulton County in years. Plus he looks hot without his shirt on.
That is all...

Nice trees.
That is all...

Christmas hiv hits house

We got deathly ill on Christmas Eve. The night before we ate at Red Lobster, so we naturally drew the assumption that we got attacked by a bad case of mudshrimp poisoning. But the affliction spread from person to person like a bad case of I-didn't-vote-for-it in the Senate. Therefore it could only have been one thing. Asian avian flu. I should have known it was so when we let those shady Asian bird peddlers into our house the day before. I mean they were pressing the hot sell and I admit I got caught up in the excitement of the "three dozen geese for $2" Christmas Eve special they were offering. But I missed all the warning signs, including the bleeding eyes, cough, runny nose, etc. Serves me right.

All better now, we are living large in Micahworld. Merry Christmas, mis amigos. HBD, JC.

Vegetarians will be upset.

Today, we ate much meat and meat products and meat gravy and other meat-related items.
Mmmmmm. Meat.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Blog Spam

I have recently been spammed by apparent fellow bloggers. Check out the comments to my two most recent postings (Georgia Tech's ass whooping and flaming of BAMF)...

The format is something like this:

insert name said...

Hey, you lucky man, you have sweet blog action! I think
I am going to bookmark you! Rock on, kasbah!

I have a cool site of my own, insert hyperlink, you should check it out sometime. It's about insert random subject.

Come and check it out sometime!

That's right spammer, I'll come visit your shitty site. I'll put that right on the list of things to do, right after "wash my scrote" and before "knit some new socks for the kitties".

Frack off blog spammers. Don't bodder me.

BAMF Loves the WHEEL OF TIME

Don't be a hater, Brad.

Read it and love it. WOT rocks your face off.

Birds eat bugs

I'm watching my Yellow Jackets get their asses handed to them by the Hokies. Godamn, but I thought we had a chance against them.

I fully acknowledge that our defense won or facilitated the win for our last three games...but this shit is ridiculous.

Go Jackets.

Bugs eating my house

Got termite protection on my house today. We had let the bond lapse, and thus had to pay for new protection of the house and will have to pay for the damage the little bastards have done to my back porch.

I hate bugs. Please send me money to help out. I've already cut back eating at Krystal and the Bell to serve an example and leader in my community (see my previous post on Micahville). There's not much more I can cut back on!

BSG RMFO

Battlestar Galactica rocked my face off tonight. Frack the Pegasus, frack the Admiral, Adama is the man.

Hurricane Rita coverage

I have this belief, and call me a jackass for thinking it, but I have this belief that the scale of the media coverage of Hurricane Rita and the preparations for it is a blatant attempt by the media to get the jump on the next big disaster.

It seems to me that had Katrina not happened, or been a much lesser storm, we would have about half to one-third of the media coverage that we currently have for Rita.

Screw you, media outlets, for being self-serving ratings hounds.
